The Department of Mathematics has the distinction of being one of the oldest departments of this college, playing a vital role in imparting mathematical education to the students of Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, and Computer Engineering branches.
The department is supported by a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members, including two Ph.D. holders, with research interests in diverse areas such as Complex Analysis, Graph Theory, Bicomplex Analysis, Functional Analysis, and Operator Theory.
